In 1934, the young Oyama Matsutatsu watches his farm servant, Bumsoo, fighting with yakuza in the market in Kimje, Korea. Oyama admires Bumsoo and starts to learn to fight. Seven years later, 18-year-old Oyama (Yang Donggeun) smuggles himself into Japan to go to an aviation school but instead finds himself being forced into the Kamikaze program. He resists and fights with the Japanese instructor. Kato, a Karate master and captain of the program, offers to fight but Oyama runs away, earning Kato's scorn.

Humiliated and wasting away his time, Oyama meets Bumsoo again and is rejuvenated. Bumsoo gives him a copy of Miyamoto Musashi's Book of Five Rings, a book by Japan's greatest swordsman on how to fight and survive. Reading the book is a turning point for Oyama. He begins to wander the streets at night saving women and others from bullies, robbers and worse. This is when Oyama meets Youko, a beautiful geisha with a pure soul and saves her from some cruel American soldiers. She starts to believe that he is the legendary vigilante hero Mouko and their tragic love begins.

One day Bumsoo is brutally killed by some yakuzas. Oyama goes to the mountains in grief. After a bout of incredibly intense self-training, Oyama searches throughout Japan hunting down the best martial arts masters to fight and conquer¡¦.

 

 
 
   

    Yang Dong-geun

Started his acting career in 1987 at the age of nine, Yang Dongguen is one of the most promising new actors of his generation. he won much praise for Kim Kiduk's ADDRESS UNKNOWN. Through TV drama, RULER OF YOUR OWN WORLD aired in the year of 2002, Yang has gained the cult followers and huge fans. Also very active as a hiphop rapper, Yang is very unique and famous among same age group.
Very fascinated by the role, Oyama Matsutatsu, Yang has been doing his own stunts and devoting most of the time for developing the characters.

    Kato Masaya

Born in 1963, Kato Masaya is a well-known actor in Asia and Hollywood. His acting careers has been wide-spread from Hollywood films such as CRYING FREEMAN and Godzilla, to domestic ones and also to Asian ones such as Hong Kong and Korean films.

    Hirayama Aya

Born in 1984, Hirayama Aya became famous in Korea through her role in the film WATERBOYS. She first starred in television drama like many other Japanese actors and actresses, but her acting in HAPPY FAMILY PLAN and WATERBOYS made her one of the promising actresses in Japanese film scene.
